Detailed description

Fung Wan Online (FWO) was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game based on the Chinese comic Fung Wan, also known as The Storm Riders. It was developed by Phoenix Games Studio and was operated by CiB Net Station last ,it is now defunct and ceases to operate. The game is available in a free version and a pay-to-play version. It is available in three languages: English, Mandarin and Malay.

Fung Wan Online offers the player a choice between five character classes known as "Stances".

* Sword stance have higher AR (Attck Rating) and moderate DR (Defence Rating) in nature. This stance is often seen as a debuffer.
* Saber stance have almost equal AR and DR and inflicts the highest damage in nature.
* Bow stance have the highest AR, but it has the lowest defense rating DR in nature. This is the only stance that can perform ranged attacks.
* Staff stance have the lowest AR, but it has the highest DR in nature. This stance is often seen as a tanker.
* Unarmed have moderate AR and higher DR in nature. This stance is often seen as a healer due to one of its multiple-target healing.
Mixing of stances determines the strengths or weaknesses of a character.

Each character can choose to raise any of the following five attributes:

* Strength. Higher strength levels will increase normal attacking damage and weight allowance, and adds more resistance to the Entangle effect.
* Agility. Higher agility level will result in a DR, higher chances to dodge attacks and adds more resistance to the Slow effect.
* Constitution. Higher constitution levels will result in more hit points (HP), a higher HP regeneration rate, higher chances to dodge attacks and adds more resistance to the Stun effect.
* Perception. Higher perception levels will result in a higher AR, higher chances to inflict critical hits and adds more resistance to the Blind effect.
* Mind. Higher mind level will result in more chi (mana), a higher chances to inflict critical hits, higher chi regeneration rate and adds more resistance to the Confusion effect.

FWO`s powers are divided into several elements, consisting of lightning, fire, ice, poison and physical. Powers can be either offensive or defensive. Offensive powers inflict damage and debuffs while defensive powers heals or buffs. There are also powers that can affect more than one player at a time, commonly called area of effect powers in the game. Some powers must be obtained through high level quests and are called Legendary Powers (LP). All powers require a sufficient amount of chi to perform. There are chain powers for faster execution working both for buffs and offensive powers, these are obtained at the following levels:

* At level 101 the player can chain 2 powers together
* At level 130 the player can chain 3 powers together
* at level 160 the player can chain 4 powers together
* at level 191 the player can chain 5 powers together

Friendly and offensive powers cannot be placed in the same chain, the cooldown of the chain depends on the power with the highest cooldown.

There are five clans in the game that can be controlled by players. One clan can only have 1 clan leader, 10 clan ministers, 20 clan masters, 165 clan seniors and 5,302 clan members. Players holding a higher rank will receive more benefits depends on the nature of the clan and relics and towns that the clan possess. Members and seniors can receive additional minister buffs and/or leader buffs if the minister or leader is standing beside them.
