1001ad is a new, vibrant MUD, based on the old ‘Dark Wizardy’ code. The year is 1001ad, the dawn of a new millennium. The ways of magic are being challenged by logic, science and brute strength. New beasts and puzzles challenge adventurers as they explore the lands. Can you survive the new ways?

With multi-classing, clans, fun-progs, mobiles that will interact, loads of exciting areas, many different races, and loads of other features, 1001ad is already a fun and challenging place to MUD.

Over the next few months many more new additions and features will be added, but rest assured this will not affect any exp-ing you do now.

1001ad has been built by players for players. They will listen to any ideas (and respond quickly) and any power tripping immortals (or players) will be hit with a big stick until they get some sense hit into them. They want 1001ad to be a fun place and are working hard to make sure it stays that way.
